How much do our treatments cost?
It is essential to make an evaluation with our team of specialists in order to design the best treatment for you. Costs depend on the treatment.
Do you offer tooth colored restoration? Can you replace my old metal restorations?
Sure, we offer all kinds of aesthetic restorations. We are staffed with first-class specialists who will give your dental piece a natural look.
Can anyone get implants?
It is necessary that our specialist carries out a study first. It all depends on the needs of each patient. We will recommend the best treatment for your case.
What is Digital Smile Design?
Using a software, we are able to diagnose, design, and inform the dental technician and the patient the desired end result through oral rehabilitation. The right smile design will give you the certainty of smiling confidently, harmony between your teeth, enhances your self-esteem, improve your dental function and health, as well as rejuvenate your face youthful appearance which will give you a happy and positive look.
Can you make new dentures because my old one doesn’t fit or looks "fake"?
Each case is unique; therefore, we evaluate and custom planned each one. This is what set us apart in Playa del Carmen. We take a complete day to discuss the problematic and expectation our patients have related to their teeth, and to be clear and realistic to what we are able to do in each case, with the materials and clinical options at our reach. It is possible to make a new set of teeth in almost all cases, our goal is to deliver a set of teeth that fits well, looks natural, always preserving the correct function and our patient’s aesthetic.
Do our specialists speak English and Spanish?
Yes, our dentists and assistants do.
How long does a complex treatment take?
In most cases we recommend our patient to take 5 to 6 days off to have a set of teeth done.
What is the treatment protocol?
On the first day we speak to our patients about their treatment, expectations or goals to achieve with the treatment, and take study model and x-ray. Later we create a plan for each case based on the clinical conditions and patient’s expectations.
On the second day we present and explain the plan to our patient, start preparing the set of teeth and take the final impressions and leave a provisional similar set of teeth before the treatment.
On the morning of the third day we make a provisional denture using CAD/CAM (software for the patient to have an estimate of the treatment), proposed plan and modifications are made if necessary. Once our patient is pleased with the result of this provisional denture we begin to work on the final set.
On the morning of the fourth day we finish the final set of teeth and we cement them in the afternoon, leaving day 5 and 6 for the patient to get acquainted with their new teeth and to make adjustments if necessary.
Can the treatment take longer than what is expected?
It is recommended to book flights with two or three days more than what is requested by the treatment. In some cases, especially with very complex cases, we will need more time than usual. We may request pictures in advanced to make a more precise estimate of the time so our patients can book their flight with enough time.
Can a set of new teeth be made in a week?
Yes, as long as there aren’t clinical contraindications for the treatment.
What happens if I have to go back to my country of residence and my treatment is not complete?
We have a protocol to avoid this situation, nevertheless we recommend booking your flight for two or three additional days.
What happens if one of my crowns break?
All the work we carry out is guaranteed, provided that the problem is clinical. We use high quality materials when making your prosthesis and the perfect material accordingly to your clinical conditions to prevent any complications. If a crown breaks by accident, it will have to be replaced here in Mexico or with your local dentist.
Do I have to travel to Mexico every time I have an issue?
When the treatment plan is designed, we use a comprehensive approach to all your teeth, trying to solve the actual problems, and at the same time we prevent and think about the future problems that you may face. Our goal is to prevent any future problem, but if any problematic comes about you can contact us and depending on the severity of the problem, we will tell you if it is essential for you to come or if your local dentist can help you solve it.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment which through “invisible” aligners allows to align the bite -occlusion- and to correct teeth misalignment. It is a comfortable, removable and very discreet treatment since it can be barely seen.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
The treatment time will depend on the evaluation made by the specialized orthodontist from our dental clinic. The aligners are generally removed every two weeks. Therefore, each aligner is different from the previous one, this allows us to perform new arrangements in your teeth to gradually achieve the result planned by the specialist.
How is Invisalign different from traditional braces?
The difference is that Invisalign offers a more comfortable option for their patients, less painful and invasive, more hygienic since they can be removed to eat (there are not restrictions on food and drinks), it is a faster treatment, and with predictable clinical results since we have (iTero) state-of-the-art technology which allows us to visualize the results of the treatment even before we begin.
How much does Invisalign cost?
The cost will depend on the number of aligners to be used since each patient is different.
In which cases can Invisalign be used?
Invisalign® can be used for treating any bite and alignment cases (crowded teeth, crossbite, overbite, open bite, gaps, or diastemas)
Can children wear Invisalign?
Yes, children can wear Invisalign among the ages of 6 and 10. Therefore, this orthodontics is worn by children, adolescents and / or adults.
